The holidays are here! One of our favorite activities to do during the holidays is go out to see the holiday lights. This year there are even more light displays in Orlando than years past and that is definitely a good thing. No matter where you live in the Orlando area, there is a light display that is close by.
Where to see Christmas Lights in Orlando
Here is where you can see Christmas lights in Orlando.
Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild
The Asian Lantern Festival is back for the third time at Central Florida Zoo. The festival features all-new, larger-than-life handcrafted lanterns lit by more than 10,000 LED lights, delivering a true experience celebrating traditional Asian lantern festivals. Guests walk around the zoo on a 3/4 mile loop to see all the lanterns.
Christmas Nights in Lights
Christmas Nights in Lights is the largest immersive drive-thru holiday experience in Central Florida. Visitors to Christmas Nights in Lights will drive through a showcase of holiday displays and more than 1.5 million “dancing” lights. The light displays are synchronized to holiday music that guests tune into through the radio in their cars. This display is perfect for families with little kids as guests never have to exit their cars; you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the light show.
Dazzling Nights is back for a third year in 2022! Leu Gardens will transform once again into a stunning, winter wonderland featuring a million dazzling lights, shining forests, magical displays, music and beautiful sculptures. Dazzling Nights is a family-friendly experience where guests get to immerse themselves in an interactive holiday experience.
Dinos in Lights
If your kids love dinosaurs, then they will love Dinos in Lights. Dinos in Lights is playing at the Orlando Science Center through the holidays. A few of the dinosaurs in the dinosaur exhibit are lit up in lights, including T-Rex, all day, but every half hour starting at 11 am there is a special holiday light show featuring the dinosaurs and festive music.
Lights on Jeater Bend
The Lights on Jeater Bend is a truly spectacular light show that takes place on multiple houses on Jeater Bend in Celebration. We can guarantee that you have never seen Christmas house lights like these. The lights are synchronized to holiday music but across multiple houses. There is a snow machine for the kiddos and movie scenes playing on garage doors. The best part is that it is all free, but they do ask for a donation to charity so bring some money to donate if you are able.
Night of a Million Lights
Night of a Million Lights is back in 2022 but in a new location at Island H2O. At Night of a Million Lights, you can get in the holiday spirit all while supporting a good cause, Give Kids the World Village. At the event, you can walk through thousands of twinkling lights, visit Santa
enjoy a dancing light show, watch the dueling pianos show (a holiday version) and party with DJ Jack Frost.
You are within walking distance of Promenade at Sunset Walk so you can grab dinner or dessert before or after the event.
