When we think Valentine’s Day, we think of adult “date night, ” but kiddos need love too!  Well, we have composed a list of fun activities you can do with your littlest loves.  If you happen to choose an event from our list to attend, be sure to check that the occasion has not been canceled due to COVID.

Here are 10 fun activities to do to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Orlando with kids.

Celebration Father Daughter Dance

Well, it’s a little past Valentine’s Day but still a fun night out!  Head out to Celebration Community Field Complex on February 18 to enjoy the Celebration Father Daughter Dance.  You will need tickets for this event and if you would like to bring another child with you, you will have to pay an additional fee.

Dessert in the Dirt

Lil’ Bit of Life family owned farm in Mt. Dora is hosting Dessert in the Dirt.  Visitors will get to meet and greet with some of the animals, guests 21 and over will get a complimentary glass of champagne, and then share some delicious treats!  The event will be held over two days – February 12 from 2:30 to 5pm and February 13 from 10am to 3pm.  There is a cost to this event for adults and children and you will need to make your reservations because spaces are filling up quickly.  Make sure you get dressed up to snap a few pictures because there may be an animal or two that may photobomb!

For the Love of Chocolate 5K

Here’s a guilt free way to enjoy Valentine’s Day!  The For the Love of Chocolate 5K is happening on February 13 starting and ending at the Hamlin Town Center.  Kiddos of all ages are allowed to race as well.  After the race, collect your medal and some sweet treats too!

Green Acres Farms Valentine’s Day Cards and Picnic

Visit Green Acres Farms Valentine’s Day Cards and Picnic on February 6 from 10am to 1pm for a fun filled day of romance.  The event is free; however, donations are welcome.  Bring your own picnic basket and food.  While there, you can make Valentine’s Day cards with the children and enjoy time petting the farm animals.

Kids and Art Yoga Evening

Here’s a great way to keep the love alive this month.  On February 25,  your kiddo can enjoy Kids and Art Yoga Evening at SKY.  This is a paid event and perfect for children between four and twelve years old.  The children will have a yoga sequence and once done, they will channel their energy to make a “lovely” craft to take home.

Love is Sweet Mommy and Me Cookie Workshop

What’s sweeter than baking cookies with your little one?  Head out to Little Blessings Bakery in Melbourne, Florida for the Love is Sweet Mommy and Me Cookie Workshop on February 5.  This is recommended for children aged four and older.  There is a cost to this event and limited spaces so book quickly for a fun and sweet experience!

Michaels Kids’ Club Sweet and Sparkly Treats for Valentine’s Day

Have Valentine’s Day fun with the kiddos early and all from the comfort of your home!  Log on to Michaels Kids’ Club Sweet and Sparkly Treats for Valentine’s Day on January 29 at 3pm (eastern).  You will have to register online for the class.  Here your kiddo (recommended for children six and older) will learn how to make, well, sweet and sparkly treats for Valentine’s Day!

Truffles and Trifles Valentine’s Day Cooking Class

Have a fun and unique experience at the Truffles and Trifles Valentine’s Day Cooking Class.  On February 13, create memories with your teenager as you both bake Valentine’s Day cakes and treats.  This class is recommended for children ages fourteen and older.  There is a cost for this event.

Valentine’s Day Virtual Cooking Class

If it’s still a little too “people-y” out there for you, try this virtual cooking class for the entire family.  Sur La Table is offering a Valentine’s Day Virtual Cooking Class.  There is only one charge for the entire family to enjoy cooking.  The great thing is that you don’t have to choose the Valentine’s Day menu – there are plenty items to choose from to create a delicious dinner or dessert for your family.

Waterford Lakes Family Night

Gather up the entire family and head out to the Waterford Lakes Family Night on February 11 from 6 to 7pm and enjoy love and learning all wrapped up into one.  The kiddos will enjoy a great science show and after the show they can create their own bath bombs – a great Valentine’s Day gift!
