Water Fun Summer Camps for Kids

As the end of the school year approaches, many families are looking for fun activities to do with the kids.  Most kids just want to laze around the pool all day.  Here’s a happy compromise that we can help you with – camps with tons of water fun!  Most camps start the last week of May and have one or two week sessions throughout the summer.

Braves Rowing/Boone Crew Summer Camp

Braves Rowing/Boone Crew Summer Camp welcomes beginners and experienced rowers (boys and girls) that will be in 6th through 12th grade in Fall of 2022.  Their summer camp involves Technique Training, Erg Training, Physical Training, and Rowing of Singles, Doubles, and 4 & 8 Person Boats as skills allow. Coxswain training is also available for those interested. Join them for one week or multiple weeks. Braves Rowing t-shirt included. They will see you on the water!

Circle F Dude Ranch Camps

If your kid feels like a fish out of water, then get them over to the Circle F Dude Ranch Camp stat!  This camp has it all – canoeing, kayaking, swimming, sailing, the works!  Located in Lake Wales, this camp offers children from ages six to sixteen a chance to experience new sports and make new friends along the way.

Nona Adventure Park Wakeboard Summer Camp

Best suited for children seven to fifteen years old, Nona Adventure Park Wakeboard Summer Camp serves up the fun.  Located in Orlando, the park has several summer camo sessions to choose from and your child does not have to be a pro at boarding; the expert coaches will help everyone from novices to experts.

North Orlando Rowing Summer Camps

If you are looking for something for your middle schooler to do this summer other than video games, send them rowing at the North Orlando Rowing Summer Camp.  The “Learn to Row” camp is great for high schoolers as well.  There is no experience necessary to have a great time learning the fundamentals of coxswain and rowing.

Orlando Watersports Complex Summer Camps

Give your kids one amazing week this summer by enrolling them in the Orlando Watersports Complex Summer Camps.  Children ages seven to fifteen can do half day or full day sessions and learn the fundamentals of wakeboarding.  Their days will be filled with both in water and out of water activities making their week at summer camp the best week ever!

Peak Performance Swim Summer Camps

Call all competitive swimmers!  Peak Performance Swim Summer Camps are known for churning our high performance swimmers and this camp is no different.  There are two training levels; one for children twelve and older and one for children under eleven.  Sending your child to this camp promises to be an adventure they won’t soon forget.

RDV Athletic Club Summer Camps

This camp is fun all summer long!  The RDV Athletic Club Summer Camps offers a variety of fun for children ages three to fifteen.  There are mini camps, swimming camps, fitness/health camps, and even a Babysitter camp!  Children will get swim lessons and water play and plenty of other things to do during the lazy, hazy days of Summer.

West Orange Country Club Summer Camp

Children between the ages of three and twelve years old will enjoy the West Orange Country Club Summer Camp.  The children will have fun swimming with professional coaches and when they are not swimming, they will also learn the fundamentals of tennis and golf too.  the camp offers both half and full day programs and the class sizes are small so your kiddo will feel like they are getting world class treatment.

YMCA Summer Camps

The YMCA Summer Camps have a long standing history in the Central Florida community.  This year, they are offering several different camps for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade including arts and crafts, sports, and or course, swimming!  While it is not totally a water based summer camp, aquatics are included daily and for middle schoolers, there are even more choice based activities like culinary arts, water, music and theater, and cheering.
