Amstar Cinema

Amstar Cinema recently underwent renovations to it’s facility.  Now, every movie goer can enjoy reclining seats and excellent sound in all theaters.  Enjoy typical movie theater snacks as well as beer and wine.  Take a look at their online booking to choose from 6 different cinema experiences (including IMAX), showtimes, and to pick your seating.  Taking the kiddos to dinner first or enjoying a sweet treat after is easy, simply select from one of the restaurants or ice cream shops within walking distance.

Downtown Lake Mary

Downtown Lake Mary is the perfect little spot to park and walk making it the central gathering place for Lake Mary residents and visitors alike. You can enjoy boutique shopping on your way to dinner. Dinner is easy with selections varying from Pizza to Greek, or stop by the cafe for coffee. Take it to go and sit by the fountain or take a blanket and hang out in central park with a picnic.

Greenwood Lakes Park

Greenwood Lakes Park is located on a beautiful 14 acres.  Let your kiddos play at one of the two age appropriate playgrounds and swings nestled under beautiful shade trees.  Parents can enjoy a fitness circuit and walking trail nearby while the kids play.  Greenwood Lakes Park also hosts 3 lighted tennis courts, a hockey rink, a pavilion, and serves as a trailhead for the Seminole trail.

Kellers Real Smoked BBQ

Kellers Real Smoked BBQ in Lake Mary has everything from Salads, to sandwiches, to BBQ, and even family packs.  Kellers BBQ is a cozy spot located near Academy Sports on Lake Mary Blvd.  Enjoy indoor or outdoor seating, while the friendly staff helps you feel right at home.

Lake Mary Farmers Market

Lake Mary Farmers Market is held at Central Park located in the heart of Downtown Lake Mary.  Shop local vendors featuring everything from produce, art and crafts, baked goods, and plants. Also take a look at the classic cars that come by from 10am-1pm for Lake Mary’s Cruise in at Lake Mary Farmers Market.  

Keep an eye out in early October for their opening day of the Morris Market Pumpkin Patch.  October at the Lake Mary Farmers Market is fun and exciting with free activities like pumpkin painting, photo ops, face painters, corn hole games, balloon animals, bounce houses and more.

Lake Mary Museum

The Lake Mary Historical Museum is a Non-Profit organization. The Lake Mary Historial Society and their volunteers work hard to preserve and promote the history of the city.  The museum is located adjacent to Downtown Lake Mary, making it a perfect stopping point after visiting the Lake Mary Farmers Market.  It is a small museum featuring a few permanent exhibits as well as smaller exhibits that are changed out periodically.   The building was built in 1926 and is on the National Registry of Historical Places.  Admission to the museum is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.

They also showcase artwork by local artists, their 8th Annual Local Artists Display is happening now. Check out artwork from artists all over Central Florida through August 29th.

Lake Mary Sports Complex

Lake Mary Sports Complex is just a 5 minute drive from downtown Lake Mary.   It’s the perfect location for a family looking for an array of outdoor activities for all ages.  The park is in a beautiful neighborhood setting, making it the go to park for a neighborhood playground as well as the feature outdoor recreation facility for Lake Mary. You will find a soccer/multipurpose field, a softball/kickball field, 3 baseball fields, 2 outdoor/lighted basketball courts, 2 live batting tunnels, and batting cages. The Lake Mary Tennis Center, Lake Mary Skate Park, Trailblazer Park with splash pad, and concession stand are also on site.  It is the proud home of the little league baseball and girls softball programs.

Planet Obstacle

Planet Obstacle is the world’s largest indoor obstacle park. This 50,000 square foot facility is sure to have something for everyone. Planet Obstacle’s founders, Cirque du Soleil veterans, thought of everything.  Enjoy a day filled with fun on their Ninja Warriors course, trampoline basketball courts, maybe a ropes course is your thing, or a 26 ft high spider wall.  Do you only have little ones?  No worries, they have a toddler area (2 and under) a kids rope course, kids Ninja Warrior course, bumper cars and more for your little one too (3 and up). Enjoy their facility for a day of adventure out of the Florida heat or for your kiddos next birthday party.

Timacuan Golf Club

Timacuan Golf Club is a semi-private club open to public play of all skill levels. It is an 18- hole, par-72 course. The course is short, but it is surrounded by a beautifully scenic natural habitat, meaning that over half of the holes are surrounded by water or sand.  You’re sure to notice the views and scenery while enjoying all that Central Florida’s beauty has to offer.  It is also considered to be one of Central Florida’s best golf values.  Be sure to stop by the Timacuan Grill for lunch or a snack when you’re done. Timacuan Golf Club is also home to the Sean Foley performance Center, a full time residential junior golf academy program.

Trailblazer Park

Trailblazer Park is located inside Lake Mary Sports Complex.  Take a little break from the Florida heat at Trailblazer Park’s splash pad.  The splash pad is conveniently located next to their playground, swing set, and EVOS climbing net. Making it perfect for letting the kiddos burn off some energy without melting in the process.  Their shade pavilion is a great spot for a snack or bringing lunch.
