Orlando Magical Dining Month is returning at the end of this week. Magical Dining has always been a great way to try new restaurants at a much lower price than normal. This year, the Magical Dining list features restaurants that have outdoor dining, and some restaurants are also offering takeout and delivery options if you don’t want to dine at the restaurant.

Magical Dining Month Restaurants for Families

Here are some restaurants that we recommend that will be good for kids during Magical Dining Month.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango

Cafe Tu Tu Tango has great Spanish inspired cuisine. Not only does the restaurant feature great cuisine, but they have great entertainment that kids will love. They feature flamenco, merengue and belly dancers on different nights of the week. The restaurant is also offering take-out options for Magical Dining Month. The restaurant specializes in small plates, so you each guest will get to choose 4 small plates plus a dessert.

Christini’s Ristorate Italiano

What kid doesn’t love Italian food? The pasta, the sauce, the cheese, it is guaranteed to make a kid happy. Christini’s Ristorante Italiano offers great Italian food that the entire family will enjoy. Their Magical Dining Month features caesar salad, meatballs, veal scallopini, fettucini and more. Christin’s is offering dine-in, take-out and delivery and they also offer limited outdoor seating.

Hamilton’s Kitchen

Hamilton’s Kitchen at The Alfond Inn would be a great option for older kids and little foodies. If you have an Anne of Green Gables Fan, they will love the Anne of Green Gables inspired Compressed Watermelon. The main course features fish, meat and chicken and for vegetarians they are offering a Jerk Jackfruit. The winner on the menu, in my opinion, is the Butterscoth Bread Pudding that they are offering for dessert. Hamilton’s Kitchen is available for dine-in and take-out and the do offer limited outdoor seating.

We love Groupon for getting discounts on favorite restaurants and trying out new ones.

The Melting Pot

If your kids love cheese, then the Melting Pot is a great restaurant to visit. This is my daughter’s favorite restaurant, but we don’t visit often as it is very pricey, so Magical Dining Month is a perfect time to visit. The table will get one cheese fondue to share, a dessert fondue to share and everyone will get a main course cooked in the bouillon of choice at the table. Melting Pot is only offering dine-in as it would be hard to replicate the experience at home.

Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen and Bar

If your kids love seafood, then Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen and Bar will be a winner for dinner. Not only are they offering a Low-Country Boil as one of their main course options, but they are also offering Cioppino. If you have a non-seafood lover in the family, they do offer steak as a main course as well. For dessert, they are offering a white chocolate peach bread pudding, which my son would love, and a key lime pie, which I would be all over. Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen and Bar is offering dine-in, take-out and delivery and they also offer limited outdoor seating.

I use Rakuten to get rebates on my everyday shopping online and then use the money that I have saved to go out to dinner with the family.

The Tap Room at DubsDread

The Tap Room at DubsDread has welcomed many politicians and celebrities over the years and would love to welcome your family. On their Magical Dining Month menu, they are featuring hot crab dip, steak and both key lime pie and a brownie sundae for dessert. I know both my kids would go wild for this menu. The Tap Room at DubsDread is dine-in only, but they do offer limited outdoor seating on the Verandah.

Taverna Opa

If you are looking for an authentic Greek experience in Orlando, then Taverna Opa is the place to go. Not only do they feature fresh quality Greek cuisine, they also have live entertainment every evening. Taverna Opa has booth indoor and outdoor seating for dine-in and they are also offering take-out for Magical Dining Month.

Magical Dining month runs from August 28 until October 4. Meals are $35 per person.$1 from each meal purchased will be donated to Feed the Need Florida. If you want to dine at the restaurant, please ensure that you make a reservation. Reservations can usually be made via OpenTable.

Which family-friendly Magical Dining Month restaurant are you looking forward to dining at the most?
