Halloween Fun at Scream n’ Stream
Ahh…it’s that time of the year again! Everything has a dash of pumpkin spice in it, the smell of cinnamon is in the air, and oh yeah – the Oviedo Mall has been overrun by zombies and clowns! Yes friends, Scream n’ Stream is back again this year, and it truly lives up to its name.
What to Expect at Scream n’ Stream
Enjoy being scared from the safety of your car while you try to escape a top-secret laboratory. You will be armed with laser guns to shoot clowns and zombies through the maze of terror. Scream n’ Stream is not for the faint of heart or for the little ones. There’s no age limit or requirement, but it is not recommended for kiddos under the age of eight.

There is a little bit of a wait once you are in line so if you have younger ones in the car with you, you may want to have a couple of songs and games ready to pass the time(we do recommend the experience for kids that are a bit older though as it might be too scary for younger kids). The entire experience, minus the wait to get in, is about twenty five minutes. It is so worth the wait! There are different stations where you’ll stop to learn the safety protocols, receive your laser guns and learn how to shoot them, and detailed instructions on what to do when you get inside.
Once you’re in the zone, beware! Zombies and spooky clowns are everywhere and you will use your lasers to put them out of their misery and retake the lab. You will have allies along the way too so make sure not to shoot them.
The whole experience is filled with laughs and screams as well as plenty of smoke, water, strobe light effects, and lots of loud bangs and noises. There are a few pyrotechnic effects too.
The more folks in the car, the better! It is definitely more fun with a car full of zombie and clown hunters. The driver is not allowed to shoot or take pictures so if you want to capture memories of the Scream n’ Stream, bring a friend. The price to get in is per car, not per person so load everyone up. If you pay for VIP, get some free swag. Regular price tickets will still get you everything to defeat the monsters. The streaming part comes in during one of your stations stops – you will be advised where to tune in right in your car to hear the entire event in real time.

What there is to do nearby
If you’re looking to make your outing a fun filled day for all, start off at the District Eat and Play in the mall. They’ve got some good eats like burgers, fries, wings, and the like but most of all they have games! Video games, old school pinball machines, virtual reality games, carnival games, bowling, and even things for youngsters to play. There’s even axe throwing and if you really want to get the blood pumping before going to the Scream n’ Stream, check out their Escape Room.
Go or No Go
We would highly recommend Scream n’ Stream as a fun Halloween season outing for adults and older kids.
