Last weekend I headed out to Stanley Pond Adventure Farm with a friend of mine and 4 kids between us. The farm is a little bit of a drive from Orlando, but if you are looking for an Orlando Fall Festival to attend with the kids on a real farm, then Stanley Pond Adventure Farm is definitely a winner.

I consider myself to be a fall festival connoisseur, having attended many a fall festival over the years, and I will say that the fall festival at Stanley Pond Adventure farm is one of the best that I have been to. The reason is that the farm wasn’t too crowded and even if it was, it wouldn’t feel crowded as it was very spread out. There was a little walk between activities, but we didn’t mind as it was quite picturesque.

Activities

Activities at the farm include: an airboat ride, wagon ride or cow train ride, jumping pillow, horseback ride, mega slide, punkin chunkin, target practice (shooting softballs out of a cannon), mega trikes, barn ball (basketball in the barn), and a special wagon ride storytime about Spookley the square pumpkin. The kids did pretty much every activity and some of them more than once. There wasn’t really a line for anything except for the horseback riding.

The kids really loved  the mini airboat ride that was on the pond. It was a small airboat, that was the perfect size for them. They also had a blast jumping on the jumping pillow. There was music playing in the background and it was great to fun to watch the kids doing the cha-cha slide on a big pillow!

At the farm, there is also an area where you are able to pick out your own pumpkin for an additional cost. However, the pumpkins are not in a field, like traditional pumpkin picking, but in a stand behind the general store.

Cost

The cost to attend the farm is $18 per person. While most of the activities are for kids, they do still charge the adults $18 as well.

Good to Know

There is food to purchase at the farm. They have hamburgers, cheesburgers, hot dogs and chips. You can buy food packages for $7-$9 depending on which of the entrees you want.

Socks are required for the jumping pillow, so make sure to bring some. If you forget, they do sell socks for the very affordable price of $1 per pair.

What’s Nearby

Long and Scott Farm corn maze is right down the road from Stanley Pond Adventure Farm, so you could combine both locations to make a day of it.
