Free Tickets to Orlando Attractions
We at Orlando Parents are all about helping parents experience more in Orlando with their kids. If we can help save you money while doing it, even better! The Orange County Library System recently came out with the Local Wanderer program that gives you free tickets to Orlando area attractions with your library card.
To use the Local Wanderer program, you request a pass for the attraction from the library.

The attractions that are included in the program include:
Orlando Shakes
Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens
Orange County Regional History Center
Mennello Museum of American Art
Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
Bach Festival Society of Winter Park
Who can request a pass
Passes are available upon request to all OCLS adult cardholders with a regular, property owner, reciprocal borrower or fee card in good standing.
How to reserve a pass
- Click the “reserve pass” button
- Browse for passes by date or venue
- Make a reservation using your library card credentials
- Print or download your requested pass. Please keep in mind that in addition to your pass, you will be required to present your library card that matches the barcode and name on your pass. The customer who reserved the pass must be present at time of redemption.
When do you redeem a pass
Each pass can be redeemed once within 14 days of reservation date.
How many people a pass is good for
The amount of people a pass is good for varies by attraction. For some attractions, it is just the person who requested the pass. For others, it is good for up to 4 people.
Pass Guidelines
Pass reservations can be made once per venue per calendar year. Additionally, each library card is limited to only two active reservations at a time. If you reserve a pass and do not redeem it, you will not be able to use that pass again until the next calendar year. To cancel a reservation, contact Orange County Library System at 407-835-7323. Only passes that have not yet passed their reservation date can be cancelled.
