Top Things To Do at Disney Springs With Kids
Living in Central Florida, it is easy to forget all the fun things to do just around the corner. Taking your kids to play at Disney Springs is a must in my book. You could literally spend all day, though when I take my daughter, we only spend a few hours. Living as close as we do, we are lucky that we can go as often as we like. From free activities to those that cost, here is our roundup of fun things to do at Disney Springs with kids.
Take A Scenic Boat Ride
Do your kids love being out on the water? Take them for a scenic ride on the Ferryboat that will take them to either one of the local hotels nearby or to the other side of Disney Springs. You can get off and explore or stay on for a return trip. Strollers do need to be folded so keep that in mind if you are going solo with kids, so plan accordingly.

Make a Light Saber
Are you kids obsessed with Star Wars? With the latest movie installment just having been released, the Star Wars obsession is at an all time high in my house. Take your kid to make a light saber at the Star Wars Trading Post. Stop by one of the shop’s stations to make your own light saber or perhaps even a droid!

Boasting themselves as not your typical bowling alley menu, the food itself is enough of a reason to stop in. Splittsville Lanes is a fun place to go bowling with two floors to bowl on and is a fun throwback to yesteryear and will definitely have you feeling nostalgic. A fun feature is that the kid’s balls feature Mickey and Minnie designs. They also have 60 plus flatscreen tv’s so if you don’t want to miss a second of any game, you won’t have to. Splittsville is definitely an entertaining atmosphere and full of energy. Perfect for family fun!

You won’t have to rush to get to get your tickets, you can buy them ahead of time and know that you already have your seats picked out and reserved. Amphicar Tours

For a 20-minute “BOUTIQUE” ride with your own private tour guide and captain, you will only be set back a mere $125 for you and up to 3 other guests. If you have a larger family, pick your favorite kids (just kidding). With less than 400 of these special fleet cars in existents today, it will definitely be a ride to remember!

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Are you looking for a magical makeover for your kids as a special treat? At Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, they can become a princess or a knight! I secretly wish they offered this for adults, but the age restriction only allows kids ages 3 to 12 to participate. With a princess hairstyle, shimmering makeup, fancy nail polish, and a princess sash, your child will be practically floating out the door! PS, reservations are highly recommended!

Dance Party
This is one of my daughter’s favorite things to do at Disney Springs. She could literally dance the night away if I let her! After the sun starts to set, the splash pad is turned off, and the music is turned up! With a live and very interactive DJ spinning tunes and playing games, your kids may not want to leave. My daughter certainly never wants too! Though there is a nightly DJ Dance Party held at the Marketplace stage from 6-10 pm year round, this splash pad event is held seasonally but is one not to be missed!
Location: Splash Pad at the Marketplace (near Earl of Sandwich)
Hours: Seasonally starting at 6 pm until 10 pm Thursday to Sunday (Summer Event)

T-Rex Digging Pit
If your kids love digging and dinosaurs then you have to visit the T-Rex Restaurant. Now you could have lunch here as the dining room is pretty cool, but not necessary to enjoy the experience. Take your kids to the digging area filled with small pebbles and there they can hunt for hidden dinosaur bones and jewels. A visit here could last however long you feel, but 30 minutes is usually enough time for my little one, though she could always stay longer.
Location: T-Rex Restaurant at the Marketplace
Hours: 11 am to 11 pm
Price: Free!
