Spring is in full gear, and this weekend is the “sweet spot” for Easter celebrations! From massive community egg hunts to interactive space missions and cultural festivals, Central Florida is wide open for family adventure. Grab your baskets and your sunscreen; it’s going to be a busy one!

Here are the top things to do in the Orlando metro area with kids this weekend, March 27–29, 2026.

 1. Baldwin Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt

This is one of the most popular community hunts in the city. The beautiful Corrine Commons transforms into a hunter’s paradise with separate start times for different age groups to ensure every little bunny gets their share of treats.

2. Egg-Ceptional Family Festival

Oviedo’s massive spring bash features much more than just eggs. Families can enjoy live stage performances, inflatable bounce houses, food trucks, and timed egg hunts across the park’s rolling hills.

3. Mission: Astronaut at Orlando Science Center

4. 13th Annual UpTown Art Expo

This is art for the whole family. While you browse the exhibits, the kids will be mesmerized by the “Chalk Street Art” displays where professional artists turn the sidewalk into 3D optical illusions. There’s also a dedicated kids’ art zone and plenty of festival food.

5. IKEA Orlando Easter Egg Hunt

Looking for a “weather-proof” indoor option? IKEA is hosting a morning egg hunt through their showroom. It’s a fun, quirky way to spend a Saturday morning, and the “prize” is often a sweet treat from the Swedish Food Market.

7. Japan Festival Eustis 2026
