Easter weekend is almost here! If you’ve been waiting for the main event, this is the weekend to grab your baskets and head out. We’ve found the best non-theme park activities across Central Florida, from magical “Frozen” encounters to high-energy egg drops and historical museum celebrations.

Here are the top things to do this Easter weekend in Orlando with the kids.

1. Frozen Spring Experience

Join Queen Anna and Elsa for a magical springtime mission! This interactive experience is perfect for the youngest fans, who will help teach Olaf all about the traditions of Easter and the arrival of spring through storytelling, music, and crafts.

2. Easter Weekend Celebration at The Morse

For a more relaxed family outing, visit the Morse Museum in beautiful Winter Park. During their annual celebration, admission is free for everyone. It’s a wonderful chance to see the stunning Tiffany Chapel, and the Friday evening session features live music.

3. Magic 107.7 Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Breakfast

This is one of the area’s largest and most anticipated hunts. Held in the Longwood Historic District, the morning features 9 different hunts categorized by age (from toddlers to 5th grade). While the egg hunt is a community gift, you can also purchase tickets for the Bunny Breakfast (sponsored by Huey Magoo’s) which includes all-the-pancakes-you-can-eat and a private visit with the Bunny in the A/C.

4. Hippity Hop Adventure at Central Florida Zoo

Spend the day exploring the zoo with a festive twist! This family-friendly event features conservation-friendly treat stations, a zoo-wide scavenger hunt for eggs, a DJ dance party on the splash pad, and special photo ops with the Easter Bunny.

6. 2026 Spring Fiesta in the Park

If you want a break from the traditional egg hunt, head to Lake Eola for one of Orlando’s biggest tradition. This massive outdoor festival features hundreds of artist booths, a huge variety of food, and a dedicated kids’ zone with activities and play areas. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the spring weather in the heart of the city.

7. Raptor Egg Hunt at Audubon Center for Birds of Prey

Explore the Center while participating in a scavenger-style egg hunt. This event teaches kids about local birds and their eggs through interactive stations, combining education with the fun of the holiday.

10. Epic Easter Egg Hunt at City Church (Sanford & Chuluota)

City Church hosts their “Epic Hunt” immediately following their Saturday services. They hide thousands of eggs across their fields, categorized by age group (up to age 11). The event also includes bounce houses, inflatables, and local food trucks. It’s high-capacity, so there is plenty of room for everyone.
