Learning doesn’t take a break, even when school does.  Most schools are closed during the holiday season, but that does not mean that children cannot still explore, learn, create, and discover all while having fun.  We have a list for you of some of the fun winter camps happening in the Orlando area during the winter break.

Anana Prana’s Winter Break Camp

Get your little ones’ mind and body moving and head over to Anana Prana’s Winter Break Camp.  Have some winter break fun and daily yoga and spend the day creating art projects too.  The art classes will focus on the process, not the product and encourage your little one to build on their creative thinking skills, and problem solve – all while having fun!  These camps were created for children four through twelve years old and the camps run from December 19 through December 23. Anana Prana offers sibling discounts as well for the camps so load up the kiddos and head on over there!

Bella Ballerina Nutcracker Winter Break Camp

Pent-up energy has to get released somehow! If you have a little ball of energy that loves to dance, then head over to Bella Ballerina’s Nutcracker Winter Break Camp in Winter Park. If you have little dancers between three and nine, Bella has dance camps running from December 19 through 23 and December 26 through 30 from 8:30 to 12 pm. During the Nutcracker Camp, your child will dance their little hearts out while crafting their own costumes too.  They should bring their own lunch and snack and Bella Ballerina will provide the fun!

Championship Martial Arts Winter Break Camp

Help teach your child discipline, self-control, and confidence all while having fun!  The Championship Martial Arts Winter Break Camp is offering campers the chance to learn from martial arts champions about technical development, high-level physical conditioning, drills for skills, and film study too.  The full-day camp runs from December 26 through December 29 and promises to be fun for all.

City of Apopka Winter Break Camp

For those families that need care for their little ones during the winter break, the city of Apoka Winter Break Camp is offering full-day care for children ages six through twelve years old. Kids can enjoy a full day of physical activity, arts and crafts, as well as educational activities at the Billie Dean Community Center.  The camp will run from December 19 to 22 and from December 27 through 30.  The best part?  There may be field trips too!

City of Maitland Winter Break Camp

The Maitland Winter Break Camp runs from December 19 through 23 and is offering children ages five to fourteen fun during the winter break.  The all-sports camp will give the little ones the opportunity to learn sportsmanship, gain a positive attitude and learn team spirit as well.  These are all great attributes to learn while playing kickball, dodgeball, flag football, basketball, and more!

City of Winter Garden Winter Break Camp

The Winter Garden Recreational Holiday Camp is awesome!  It is a great place for your child to make friends, have a safe place to play during school breaks, and have fun too!  Located on North Dillard Street in Winter Garden, the camp runs year-round when school is out and is perfect for children in kindergarten through eighth grade.  With full days and extended hours, kiddos will enjoy making themed holiday crafts and exploring many of the parks in Winter Garden.

Creative Jane Winter Break Camp

If you have curious ones in the house, keep their juices flowing during winter break at Creative Jane Winter Break Camp.  Located in Winter Park, the camp runs from December 19 through 22 and is best suited for children attending kindergarten through fifth grade.  Your little ones will create holiday crafts using different mediums of art, learn about influential artists through books and music, and play games too.  If you have more than one budding artist in the home, Creative Jane offers a sibling discount too.

Dance 360 Winter Break Camp

The Nutcracker Winter Camp presented by Dance 360 Orlando will run from December 19 through 23.  Located on New Broad Street in Orlando, Dance 360 Orlando offers fun for the little ones through dance, crafts, and lots of fun activities throughout the week. The camp offers half-day and full-day classes as well as day rates for families that will need sporadic care through winter break week.

Florida Film Academy Winter Break Camp

The Florida Film Academy is offering a one-day camp for children ages nine to thirteen and it has fun written all over it!  The camp has two sessions – one on December 19 and the other on December 22 with both running from 9 am to 2 pm.  Children will create mini wonderland snow globes and other holiday-themed crafts.  Located in Winter Garden, the fun is just around the corner!

Michael Hearts Academy Special Needs Winter Camp

The Michael Hearts Academy Special Needs Winter Camp is designed for attendees eight to twenty-one years old.  The camp will have arts and crafts, music, scavenger hunts, all while focusing on developing social skills, and daily living skills too.  Located in Apopka, the camp will run from December 19 through January 2 of next year.  The camp promises fun for everyone.

My Gym School Holiday Camp

Calling all tumblers!  My Gym, with quite a few locations throughout Orlando and surrounding areas, offers families a chance for their child to play and learn at an affordable price.  My Gym School Holiday Camps are perfect for children ages three to eleven and have half-day, full-day, and even day-to-day options.  Kiddos will play games, do loads of arts and crafts, dance, and of course, tumble!  The camps follow the school calendar so camps are available during school breaks.

Orlando Metro Gymnastics Kidz Sports Day Camps

Keep the little ones busy during the winter break and send them over to the Orlando Metro Gymnastics Kidz Sports Day Camps.  With multiple locations throughout the Orlando area, the day camps are designed for children ages four through seventeen that will rotate through sports and activities, including gymnastics.  There are full-day and half-day programs available and multiple child discounts too.  This is the perfect camp for your bundles of energy!

Orlando Science Center School Holiday Camps

When school is out, learning is still in!  the Orlando Science Center School Holiday Camps are designed for preschool-age to fifth graders a fun way to learn about STEM through a fun and interactive environment.  Campers will explore the world around them both indoors and outdoors too.  The full-day programs run year-round during OCPS school closures.

Orlando Winter Break Skate Camp

The Orlando Winter Break Skate Camp, located on Festival Way in Orlando, is open to children ages five to fourteen years of age.  The two-week-long camp runs during the weeks of December 19 through 23 and December 26 through 30.  Children will be taught basic skateboarding skills, but they will have to provide their own skate equipment.

Rosen JCC School Holiday Camp

The “School’s Out” camp at the Rosen JCC located in Orlando on Apoka Vineland Road, is offering full-day and extended care for winter break campers.  If your child is attending kindergarten through fifth grade, this all-inclusive camp is offering your child the chance to explore and have fun through creating, building, brainstorming, and building.  They will get a chance to cook some simple, yet tasty recipes too.

RDV Athletic Club School Holiday Camps

No school – no problem!  If your kiddos are out for holiday break, then the RDV Athletic Club School Holiday Camp is the place to be.  Located on Maitland Summer Boulevard in Orlando offers children ages three to eleven a fun time in either half-day and full-day camps filled with great activities like swimming, water play, and exploratory movement.  The camp will run from November through the end of December.  If you are looking for maybe just a few days where your little ones need a break, RDV also offers single-day camps too.

Synapse Orlando Holiday Camp

Fulfill your child’s curiosity about the tech space and send them to Synapse Orlando Holiday Camp in Orlando.  Located on Eagle Creek Center Boulevard in Lake Nona, the program focuses on STEM-themed activities and engages your child in their full-day program.  The camp will run from December 19 to 22 and from December 27 through 30.  Expect your child to come home and tell you all about making a Sphero holiday dreidel, do coding, pixel art and much more to know.  With a camp this fun, spaces are limited; register today to make sure your little one will be in all the fun!

The Art Room

The Art Room is hosting winter break camps for children currently attending Kindergarten and older.  Located on Main Street in Windermere, The Art Room is offering camps from December 19 – 22 and again from December 27 – 30.  The camps are from 9 am to 12 pm and are sure to be fun for the kiddos as they can learn about colors, mixed media, and the like.  Have plans for the camp dates?  Then check out the holiday classes that are running through December 16.  The Art Room is not just for kids!  They also offer adult classes and workshops too.

UCF Softball Camp

Winter camps aren’t just for the little ones!  The UCF Softball Camp is open to students from seventh to twelfth grade and offers participants a fast-paced, two-day camp packed with great instructions and the FUNdamentals of softball.  The camp runs December 17 and 18 on the UCF campus and is sure to be fun!

YMCA School Holiday Camp

Looking for a safe, yet fun place, for your little ones to enjoy their holiday break?  Then the YMCA School Holiday Camp is the place to be!  The YMCA has year-round holiday break camps for kiddos attending kindergarten through eighth grade.  Full-day and half-day programs are available for your children to have fun creating holiday-themed games, crafts, and fun educational and physical activities too.  The camp dates follow the Orange County Public School calendar so it makes planning easier.
