This Saturday is National Day of the Cowboy. So grab your boots and your cowboy hat and mosey on down to Cowboy Chicken at Promenade at Sunset Walk. In honor of National Day of the Cowboy, Cowboy Chicken Kissimmee will give all guests wearing a cowboy hat and boots and a free Cowboy Plate on the house all day on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

What is Included in the Cowboy Plate at Cowboy Chicken?

The Cowboy Plate includes a ¼ white or dark chicken with one side. If you don’t have both boots and a hat, don’t worry, you will still receive 50% off of the Cowboy Plate. Please note that is one per guest, in-store only and only on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Cowboy Chicken Kissimmee.

History of National Day of the Cowboy

In 2005, the organization National Day of the Cowboy (NDOC) sponsored a bill in the Wyoming House and Senate to preserve and celebrate cowboy culture and history in that state, attaching an eponymous holiday to be observed on the fourth Saturday in July. The bill passed and, since then, other states have passed NDOC in their legislatures. As of the end of July 2019, 15 states had passed the bill. Since the beginning of NDOC’s political campaigning, they’ve raised awareness and enthusiasm for things like rodeos, cowboy history museums, and country fairs featuring roping demonstrations to make sure the cowboy image never dies.

Flavor to the Bone at Cowboy Chicken
