Evermore Orlando Resort: A Great New Resort near Disney
Evermore Orlando Resort is a brand-new resort that opened earlier this year near Disney World. We were able to tour this massive property when it opened and believe that it will be a game-changer for the Orlando hotel scene.
All There is to Know about Evermore Orlando Resort
Here is everything you need to know if you are thinking about staying at Evermore Resort.
Location of Evermore Resort
Evermore Orlando Resort is located on the grounds of the former Grand Cypress Villas. Don’t worry; the villas and golf course are still there, and the grounds have expanded. This location is about 5 minutes from the entrance to Disney World, so it is perfect for visiting the parks.
Rooming Options at Evermore Resort
Evermore Resort offers four different types of rooming options.
Conrad Hotel at Evermore Resort
The Conrad Hotel is a full-service, five-star hotel located on the Evermore Resort property. The hotel has King rooms, two queen rooms, and suites on offer. They also have a pool and kids club that are just for hotel guests. In addition, the hotel has multiple bars and restaurants that are open to anyone staying at the resort.
Villas at Evermore Resort
The former Grand Cypress Villas are the second stay option at Evermore Resort. The villas offer two-bedroom and four-bedroom options with a living room and a kitchen. These are the most affordable stay option on the property starting at around $300 per night. The villas also have a pool that is just for villa guests.
Tip: Some of the villas have a view of Evermore Bay. If possible, I would request one of these villas as it is an amazing view.
Flats at Evermore Resort
The flats are in the center of the Evermore property. The flats have four bedrooms. There are two types of flats – ones that are in a two-level Florida-style building or ones in an apartment-style building. I preferred the apartment-style building as some of those flats face Evermore Bay and have amazing views from the balcony.
The flats also have four bathrooms, a living room area and a kitchen.
Houses at Evermore Resort
Houses at Evermore Bay are stunning. Houses start at 5 bedrooms and go all the way up to 11 bedrooms, so they are perfect for a vacation with the extended family. The houses have three floors. The first floor has the Master Bedroom, a seating area, a dining room, and a kitchen. The second level has more bedrooms and an additional seating area. The third floor is the kids’ area with a fun seating area with games and bunkbed rooms.
All houses have a patio with a private pool.
The houses are all located in a separate area of Evermore Resort and are a little bit of a walk or ride to the center of the resort, but the privacy is worth it.
Recommendation: Get one of the houses with a movie theater to have a family movie night.
Food and Drink
Evermore Resort has one main restaurant, Twin Views, that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a food hall with a variety of food options, including burgers, pizza, wraps, sandwiches, pastries, gelato, and coffee.
Tip: At Twin Views, make sure to get a free kids’ activity bag at the restaurant which will keep the kids occupied during dinner.
Guests are also able to eat at the restaurants in the Conrad Hotel which includes an Italian Trattoria, an elevated Mexican restaurant, and a waterside tiki lounge.
Evermore Resort also offers the option of chef service in all of its accommodations (except the Conrad Hotel). With chef services, you have two options: have the chefs come and cook for you inside your accommodations which starts at $125 for adults or have the chefs prepare and deliver food to your door.
I highly recommend using the chef service at least once during your stay. The food that we tried was simply amazing.
If you are looking for a glass of wine or a craft cocktail, there are also three bars located on the Evermore property. One is located right on the beach in a retro VW van, one is located in the food hall, and one is inside the Conrad Hotel.
Things to do at Evermore Orlando Resort
Evermore Resort offers fun daily activities for the entire family. Make sure to take a look at the activity schedule to see what’s on offer during your stay. Some of the activities that they offer include family games and beach parties, movies under the stars, sandcastle showdown, DIY kites, Just Dance tournaments, water wars, paint and sip, and more. Most of the craft activities do have an extra charge.
If your family loves the water, then Evermore Bay is where you will want to be. Evermore Bay is an 8-acre lagoon surrounded by a 20-acre beach. You can go swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, and kayaking on the lagoon. There is also a rope swing and jump platforms into the lagoon.
Good to know: Swimming is restricted to only a roped-off portion of Evermore Bay that is closest to the beach. The middle section is reserved for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
There is a family pool with a four-person slide that can be used by everyone at the resort.
Evermore Resort also offers daily fitness classes and live music from Tuesday to Saturday.
Why Stay at Evermore Resort
If you are looking for a great place to stay on your Orlando vacation or your Orlando staycation, then I would highly recommend Evermore Resort. The grounds are gorgeous and there is so much to do on the property. Everyone in the family will thank you for choosing this resort.
