One of my favorite things to do during summer break with my kids is to go to see discount summer movies in Orlando.My daughter is turning 9 this year and we have been going since she was 2; they used to be free back then but I am fine paying $1 or $3. Now that I my son is old enough, he gets to join in the movie-going fun. There are a few different theaters in the Orlando area offering discount films. This is probably the cheapest indoor fun you will find in Orlando this summer.

Regal Cinemas

Regal Cinemas is back with $1 movies for another summer. Two films will play every Tuesday and Wednesday for 9 weeks from June 1 to August 9. Movies start at 10:00am.

Cobb Theatres

Cobb Theatres Summer Movie Express will return for another summer. Each week they will feature one movie for FREE. Movies are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from June 12 to August 2. Movies start at 10:00am and doors open at 9:30am.

Amstar 12

Amstar 12 in Lake Mary will have a Summer Kids Flicks series every Tuesday and Wednesday from May 29 until August 1. For $4 get a movie ticket, box of popcorn and a drink. Movies start at 10:00am and doors open at 9:30am.

West Orange 5

West Orange 5 will also be featuring summer kid’s movies from June 6 until August 8. Movies are every Wednesday at 10am and cost $1.50 per person.

Winter Garden Theatre

Winter Garden Theatre’s Milk Money Movies are perfect family fun. For $3, you get a movie ticket and a kid-sized popcorn and a juice combo.  This is definitely the best deal you will find at a movie theatre. Movies play every Tuesday from June 12 to July 31. Movies start at 10am, but you can purchase tickets from 8am the day of.
