Virtual Hanukkah Events
Hanukkah starts this week. Unfortunately, many of the live events have been cancelled for 2020, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t ways that your family can still celebrate Hanukkah with the kids, other than lighting the Menorah at home. Here are some fun virtual events that you can attend to celebrate Hanukkah this year.

December 6
Virtual Hanukkah Family Day with the Jewish Museum
NYC’s Jewish Museum is hosting a virtual Hanukkah Family Day. Enjoy an exciting mix of Hanukkah related activities such as music, art, family-friendly performances and more. If you missed the live performance, a recording is available on their site.
Israel Philharmonic Pre-Hanukkah Global Celebration
The Israel Philharmonic is holding a pre-Hanukkah concert featuring music from Hans Zimmer. The concert is free to stream.
Hanukkah in Space
In this live-stream family event, celebrate with the The Jewish Museum of Maryland as they share how they celebrate their favorite holidays, experience several Hanukkah traditions, and discover how astronauts celebrate in space.

Virtual Hanukkah Candle Lighting
The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is hosting a virtual Hanukkah candle lighting. Their virtual doors will open at 4:30 for an online Hanukkah celebration with music, games and more finishing with a candle lighting at 5:20pm.
