November is the best of both worlds as you can decorate for Thanksgiving and Christmas and attend events for both as well. Thanksmas or Christgiving both have a nice ring to them! I kid.  But seriously, make sure to check out all the fun activities to do this weekend with the kiddos.

Altamonte Mall Carnival

There’s something for everyone at this family-fun event, from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides, midway games, and deep-fried treats, sweets and other tasty carnival eats. Event parking and admission are free.

Festival of Trees at the Orlando Museum of Art

Celebrate “Sparkling Holiday Traditions” with Festival of Trees, at the Orlando Museum of Art. For the 35th year the Festival of Trees, put on by Council of 101, will be benefiting the Orlando Museum of Art.

Icon Park Special for Veteran’s Day Weekend

In honor of Veterans Day weekend, ICON Park is honoring those who’ve sacrificed everything to protect our country’s safety and freedom. Nov. 11-14, all active duty and retired military personnel will be able to ride ICON Park’s signature attraction, The Wheel, for free to show appreciation for their service.

Family Fun Night at The Sharing Center

Spend a family night together completing volunteer projects for The Sharing Center, which offers programs to prevent hunger and homelessness in the community. Pizza and drinks are provided. This is a recurring monthly event open to parents, grandparents and children ages 5 and up.

Moms on the Move MOMS Class

Join us, mama for Little Movers! 60 minute, full body workout for Moms on the Move. Classes incorporate songs, games, and more to keep kiddos entertained while parents get fit. Stroller based. Older children are welcome to participate

Saturdays at ARC

The Avian Reconditioning Center is open to the public on Saturdays, 10am to 4pm, weather permitting. Our resident raptors are on display under the education pavilion and volunteers are always eager to share their knowledge of these fascinating birds with visitors.

Free Family FunDay at Mennello Museum

Every second Sunday of the month is Free Family Funday! oin us at the museum for free admission all day, plus a take-home art project for the first 30 children. Video and Written instructions are available below!

Old Town Family Movie Night

Bring the entire family to watch free movies on a big screen. Old Town will play family-friendly movies and classics every Sunday night. Bring a chair, grab some snacks at your favorite Old Town store, and spend the night watching a movie underneath the stars.
