Here are some fun activities to take the kids to this weekend.
Come out to the “Alligator Capital of the World” and enjoy holiday festivities at Gatorland’s Holiday Ho, Ho Ho-Down event weekends starting December 4th through the 19th. Enjoy Family Friendly Holiday Fun, included in the regular price of admission.
This class allows you and your children (up to three kids) to decorate your own gingerbread house. One adult is required for each family group; children should be at least 4 years old. We’ll provide the materials, you bring your creativity and holiday spirit!
A crowd favorite, the Plaza fountain features special shows with dancing water and dazzling lights choreographed to classic holiday tunes. Show runs nightly at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m. except during the holiday movie nights on December 9 and 16.
Enjoy over 200,000 lights on more than 100 holiday displays powered by Duke Energy. The highlight in the park is the 60-foot tall Christmas tree with more than 8,000 energy-efficient LED lights, 2,600 ornaments and over one mile of garland.
Experience Dazzling Nights, a 3/4 mile walk through, immersive, holiday light experience. You can arrive at Leu Gardens up to 30 minutes before your timed entry. Children ages 2 and under can enter for free.

Visit Lake Nona Town Center, or as it’s known for the holidays, Peppermint Square. This year, we’re spreading the holiday cheer with more snow, more shows, more photo spots, and more magical encounters than ever before!
Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest is open from November 20 through December 19. Tickets must be purchased in advance to guarantee entry. Tree Sales only. Purchase a northern pre-cut Christmas tree, or cut your own Florida Christmas tree. There will be thousands to choose from!

In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids–probably the most inventively awful kids in history.
The 2021 Fezziwig Festival kicks off on December 4 with a Tree Lighting ceremony after the Hunter’s Creek Holiday Parade. The fun continues for the next two Fridays & Saturdays (10 & 11, 17 & 18). Each night will have food, music, and events for the whole family. You won’t want to miss it!

This holiday season, let’s celebrate what’s truly important in our lives, the reason for the season: holiday movies! Snuggling up and watching one of these feel-good films is the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit.
In its sixth year, Winter Wonderland delights guests with nightly “snow” flurries, sparkling holiday décor, visits from Santa and other holiday characters and special events. In fact, Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit Wekiva Island to officially kick off the event and light the giant Christmas tree at 7 p.m. Dec. 3.
Visit Winter Garden to welcome the holiday season with this annual event to kick off our 38 days of Tis the Season. The lighting will take place at 6:15 pm at City Hall followed by various activities for all to enjoy. Sponsored by Duke Energy and the City of Winter Garden.
