It’s Magical Dining Month! This is one of our favorite times of the year where we can try out some new restaurants with the kids. This year Orlando Magical Dining is running from August 27th to October 3rd.  It is a great time to introduce the kids to some new foods at a lower cost.

Here are 12 Magical Dining restaurants that we recommend for the entire family.

JALEO at Disney Springs

Get a taste of Spain at Jaleo. Enjoy an incredibly diverse menu that combines the rich, regional diversity of traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine at this festive eatery. There is also an extensive selection of tapas. If you want to introduce your kids to food from another country, this is the place to do it!

Paddlefish Restaurant

Paddlefish is a nautical themed restaurant sits right on the water at Disney Springs. Sit by one of the windows and enjoy the view. If your family loves lobster, like mine does, then Paddlefish will hit the spot. Their lobster corn dogs, lobster risotto and lobster guacamole are all must  tries at this seafood restaurant

Terralina Crafted Italian

At Terralina Crafted Italian, the menu offers authentic Italian fare prepared in Terralinas signature olive oil  artisanal hand-tossed pizzas and real wood-fired oven fresh vegetable dishes. If your kids don’t typically like vegetables, they might be a convert after trying these dishes.

 

Make a weekend of it by combining Magical Dining with a staycation at a local hotel. Research and book hotels on Trivago. You can compare prices from 1000s of sites to get the best prices and value possible.

Amatista Cookhouse

Enjoy Caribbean-inspired cuisine at Amatista Cookhouse. Food is prepared in an exhibition kitchen (indoors or out) all day long. From ceviche to flatbread to burgers, there’s something for every islander’s taste. Take a deep breath after a day of sun, sand, and blue waters.

Islands Dining Room

Visit the Islands Dining Room at Loew’s Pacific Resort. The menus conveniently offer both traditional family fare and South Seas specialties. Islands Dining Room features Pan-Asian dishes such as Grilled Salmon infused with sweet and sour tamarind sauce.

Mama Della’s Ristorante

Who doesn’t love Italian food? Mama’s Restaurant, located at Loew’s Portofino Bay Hotel, offers authentic food from Tuscany, Naples, and Piemonte, as well as homestyle classics like Insalata Mama Della and the best lasagna this side of Sicily. Save room for the tiramisu or cannoli for dessert.

The Kitchen

Located at the Hard Rock Hotel, The Kitchen serves amped-up versions of American classics. Dine on mushroom and onion soup, a play on traditional french onion soup, filet mignon, who doesn’t love a good steak, calamari and more. Make sure to save room for dessert.

Euphoria at Margaritaville Resort Orlando

It is definitely dinner time somewhere! If you are looking for a casual vibe for dinner then bring the family to Euphoria Fish House. Bringing the best of Florida’s famed seafood scene to your plate, Euphoria Fish House has a true Margaritaville feel. Dine inside or out and enjoy a Caribbean feel in Orlando.

Antonio’s

Anthony’s restaurant upstairs is known by all the locals as a place to dine on Italian food, fresh seafood, 100% Black Angus beef, and delicious daily Chef’s specials. Antonio’s is a fusion of old world tradition and modern creativity.

Cafe Tu Tu Tango

Cafe Tu Tu Tango has great Spanish inspired cuisine. The restaurant specializes in small plates, so each guest will get to choose 4 small plates plus a dessert. Not only does the restaurant feature great cuisine, but they have great entertainment that kids will love. They feature flamenco, merengue and belly dancers on different nights of the week.

Taverna Opa

At Taverna Opa, you will experience an exciting mix of traditional Greek culture and fresh modern ideas. Each night there is a live belly dancing show that is fun for the entire family. Opa!

SeaWorld® – Sharks Underwater Grill

Located inside Sea World, Sharks Underwater Grill offers a unique dining experience. With a view of sharks swimming all aroundyou can enjoy an array of appetizers, soups, salads, or grilled fish and meat. This restaurant is great for those with young kids as dining times are pretty early.
