Who doesn’t love holiday shows? Festive music, the dance of the sugar plum fairy, and Uncle Scrooge are just a few of the things that you can encounter this Holiday Season in Orlando. Keeping the spirit alive while prioritizing social distancing regulations is a must for our performing arts venues. Join them as they perform shows, music, concerts and more to bring you the Joy of Christmas.

Here are some fun holiday shows for the family that you can take in this December.
CFCArts Presents Holidays in the Courtyard
CFCArts Holidays in the Courtyard series features local Central Florida performers making spirits bright with music and fun this holiday season! Join them in-person for these outdoor cabarets in an enchanted festive atmosphere or enjoy the performance from the comfort of your own home! In person attendance will be purchased in Pod form. All pods will be at least 6 feet between them.
Holidays With The Humdingers is four Dapper Dudes with a unique blend of Barbershop entertainment (December 4 and 5)
Deck the Courtyard is a musical Theater adaptation with contemporary interlaced with dramatic readings, engaging poetry and heartfelt storytelling. (December 11)
Belles & Bows is an all female, holiday vocal ensemble. They will be performing a variety of musical genres from classic carols to contemporary tunes. Come out and enjoy the songs and tunes that have been charming audiences in the Central Florida area for a decade. (December 10 and 12)
A Right on Key Christmas features a great group of talented singers who will be singing holiday favorites in a fresh new way.
We Wish You Merry Christmas is a fun musical romp featuring the boys of Boys Night bringing joy, cheer and lots of merriment.

A Christmas Carol
Join CFCArts as they bring to life Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol. Broadway heavy hitters, Alan Menken (Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s The Little Mermaid) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island), breathe fantastic life into the classic tale of A Christmas Carol. Watch as they bring Ebenezer Scrooge and his “Bah! Humbug!” persona to life and is visited by the 3 ghosts of Christmas, past, present and future! There must be 3 seats between families and masks must be worn by children 2 and older at all times.
*This production contains mild use of language, themes of death and ghosts, strobe lighting effects and theatrical low lying fog.

Elf Jr.
December 4- December 6, Sit back and enjoy the show as you follow the journey of Buddy the Elf. Buddy has to figure out life outside of the North Pole and his elf family he knows and loves in Elf, Jr. No contact temperature checks will be done upon arrival. Masks must be worn the entire time.

Kids will love the Baby Alive Baby grows-up doll. It turns from a baby to a toddler. I don’t know how they do it but it is pretty amazing!

Gaylord Palms
Gaylord Palms is known for it’s magic at Christmas Time. This year ICE isn’t visiting, but their shows and musicals are still offering the spirit of Christmas. Visit Gaylord Palms for Cirque Dreams Unwrapped, a 25-minute Christmas dream with Broadway style and inventive theatrics.
The whole family will love the showmanship performed on ground as well as in the air.
Other shows and musicals at Gaylord Palms include Sugary Sweet Storytime, a nutcracker tale led by the Sugar Plum Fairy herself. The Greatest Story Stage Show, this multicultural stage show tells the story of Christ like you’ve never seen it before. The Story of Los Tres Reyes Magos tells the story of The Three Kings in a musical celebration as they retell the story of Christmas.

Holiday Fantasia
Join CFCArts as they present a holiday favorite Holiday Fantasia. The Central Florida Community Choir will perform their annual holiday concert featuring songs such as Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, Winter Wonderland, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, to a stunning collection of traditional Christmas hymns including O Come All Ye Faithful and O Holy Night. This beautiful concert is fun for the whole family and sure to bring the Christmas Spirit. This is a one day event. Tickets must be purchased in advance. If you are parking onsite at Mead Garden, an advance Parking Pass must be purchased as well. No chairs will be provided, please bring along folding chairs or a blanket, get comfy, and remain socially distanced from others.

Holiday Jazz on the Lawn
About an hour outside of Orlando is the beautiful Howey Mansion. This year please join them as they carry on the holiday spirit after Christmas for their Holiday Jazz on the Lawn. They host jazz diva Michelle Amato as she performs a combination of classic jazz and holiday songs. The concert will be held on the front lawn and guests are asked to bring your own chairs and a picnic if you’d like. Guests are invited to decorate their chairs in a holiday theme, and the winner will receive a free night’s stay in the Gardener’s Cottage at the Howey Mansion! Cash bar available.

Noel: Christmas at Home
Noel: Christmas at Home presented by the CFCArts Community Choir and conducted by the award winning Derric Johnson, whose work has been featured for decades at Walt Disney World, for the annual tradition, Epcot’s Candlelight Processional.
Together they bring The Christmas Story to your living room. Join them as they present a unique and spirited celebration for all to enjoy!

The Nutcracker
Join the Orlando Ballet as they present, The Nutcracker. Fun for the whole family, The Nutcracker will guide you through a magical journey with the Mouse King, Mother Ginger, Sugar Plum Fairy, dancing snowflakes and so much more. Watch as your kiddos awe at the magic of the ballet and this beautiful Christmas tradition.

The Russian Ballet’s Nutcracker- A Holiday Classic Tour
Experience the timeless story of The Nutcracker in this grand production from The Russian Ballet. Audiences of all ages will marvel at the magic and wonderment of this stunning holiday presentation. This has quickly become a magical annual event for families all over Central Florida. Seating is limited and appropriately spaced for social distancing.

Sleigh What?!?!
The Elves are running amuck and Santa and his reindeer have got to fly, but what can they do? The elves need your help! This interactive show, Sleigh What?!?! tells a story that you help create! Give suggestions and come up with a plan to help the elves save Christmas and get Santa on his way! The story is hilarious and one-of-a kind all thanks to you!
The Orlando Rep is taking extra precautions such as social distancing, minimizing attendance, and sanitary precautions are in effect. For everyone’s safety all actors, staff, and guests are required to wear masks the entire time. After the show, don’t rush off though, because guests get to take photos with Santa. Wait in a queue, with fun activities for the kiddos, until your party is called. Social Distancing Seating will be done in what they’re calling seating bays and grouped together in groups of up to 2, up to 4, and up to 6. (For parties larger than 6, additional bay seating can be purchased.)

The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge
Join Orlando Shakes Theater in this hilarious take of this holiday classic in The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge by Mark Brown.
In this hilarious, twisted take on the holiday classic, it’s one year after A Christmas Carol and Scrooge has returned to his miserly ways… The Ghosts of Christmas are on trial for breaking and entering, kidnapping, slander, pain and suffering, attempted murder, and the intentional infliction of emotional distress as Scrooge rants and raves to the court. Both silly and sweet, The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge is a heartwarming comedy for the whole family!

TwELF Days of Christmas
St. Luke’s United Methodist Church teamed up with local entertainment company, We Bring the Funny, to put on a special FREE drive-thru experience for Central Florida. At TwELF Days of Christmas, drive alongside elves, and witness a blend of traditional Christmas themes as well as holiday lights, live music, and comedic vignettes. This family friendly, socially distanced event is meant to “fill patrons hearts with love, light, and the life of Christmas.” The event is free, but register for your preferred evening to help manage capacity.

Violectric Holiday Show
This is the 8th year that the Violetric Holiday Show will be taking place at Lake Eola Amphitheater. It is a 90-minute live outdoor concert, featuring traditional holiday favorites mashed up with
classic rock tunes and modern hits performed by Central Florida’s top strings rock group.
Please note that eating at the event will be limited to 50% but the concert will be simulcast around all of Lake Eola. Event is kid-friendly and pet-friendly.
