Fall Festivals in Orlando for the Entire Family

While there are no leaves to watch change, and there are no brisk autumn winds to cool us down, we do still have a vibrant fall. And throughout the country, fall is celebrated with pumpkins, apples, football, and festivals. So grab your favorite cider cup, and check out these fall happenings around Orlando this season.

Scott’s Maze Adventures
Open Saturdays and Sundays, Scott’s Maze Adventures features two corn mazes for the kids to get lost in, as well as a tree maze, a rope maze, a mist maze, and a labyrinth … which is just a fancy name for a maze. There are also slides, a zip line for kids, and play areas. The farm offers hay rides and fishing for an additional charge. Food is available at the market and the café.

Great Pumpkin Limited
Who doesn’t love trains? Not the new trains with fancy seats, but old trains with character. The Orange Blossom Cannonball, a train featured in movies, takes families on a ride to a private pumpkin patch where each kid ages 3-12 gets a free pumpkin. There are also refreshments served at the pumpkin patch. The total trip is under an hour.

Montessori of Winter Garden Fall Fest
Held on the playground of the Montessori School, this festival includes a baby kangaroo. In case you need more, Mad Science will put on a show, there will be booths where children can perform their own experiments, games and food trucks. There will also be rock climbing, slides, exotic animals, and a baby kangaroo. A baby kangaroo.

Pumpkins and Ponies Festival

The Pumpkins and Ponies Festival supports the Wounded Warrior Project, and features crafts, bounce houses, and pictures with the fire chief. There will also be pony rides and hay rides, food and music, and outside vendors. And of course, the festival will feature the beautiful and expansive pumpkin patch that Painted Oaks Academy keeps well-stocked. If you’ve waited to get your Halloween pumpkins until now, this is the place to do it.

Southwest Fall Festival
The Southwest Fall Festival features rides, carnival games, and a wide variety of food, including a multi-ethnic food court. The festival also features four days of bingo, 50/50 raffles, and music and entertainment acts each day – including Zac the Magician, Plan B, and the Rollables.

Admission and parking is free, with shuttles from the parking sites to the festival.

Delaney Street Fall Festival
This two-hour festival includes carnival games with prizes, bounce houses, face painting and balloon animals. There will also be food and other attractions. This evening festival also features free admission.

Children’s Halloween Fun Days and Spanish and Native American Celebration
The weekend before Halloween, Green Mountain Farm hosts the Children’s Halloween Fun Days, featuring a not-so-spooky haunted house, pig races, and other fun activities. Be sure to wear your costumes and bring your cameras because the highlight of the event is the costume parade. Then, in November, food and dance take over, as the farm celebrates Latin and Native Americans. Local restaurants will provide food from across Central and South America, while musicians play music so you can dance the flamenco, the salsa, and the merengue. There will also be demonstrations of Native American music and dancing. In addition, the farm features a petting zoo where kids can get up close and personal with chickens, goats, rabbits, and even milk a cow.

Club Lake Plantation Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch
Open 7 days a week, the pumpkin patch and fall festival includes duck races, a corn maze for big kids and adults, as well as a toddler maze, play structures, and space for both punkin chunkin and shooting tennis balls out of air cannons. While you usually need to purchase the pumpkins and tennis balls, they also give some out for free. On Saturdays and Sundays, admission also includes unlimited hay rides.

Funtober Fest
Not only does this festival feature costume contests for different age groups, a hay ride, and other fun activities, but it’s all free – and that includes candy for the kids, and food. There will also be a Trunk and Treat so be ready with your best Halloween decorations for your car.

Clermont Harvest Festival
Main street Clermont will be open and turned into a harvest festival, as over 75 vendors come out selling everything from jams and jellies to handmade crafts. Downtown will be active with all of the shops and restaurants open and food trucks coming down for additional options. In addition, there will be a petting zoo, hay rides, and pony rides.
