Orlando has some great Independence Day festivals that are great for the whole family. While pretty much all celebrations were cancelled last year, they are back this year and better than ever. While the festivals might be fun, let’s be honest, what we are most interested in are the fireworks. There is nothing like a 4th of July fireworks display.

Great American Weekend: Lakeside Carnival and Fireworks
Visit Lake Nona for the Great American Weekend: Lakeside Carnival and Fireworks. Enjoy an old-fashioned Carnival with fireworks over Canvas Lake (right by Canvas restaurant) at 9pm.

Poinciana Villages Fireworks Spectacular
Visit Poinciana Village for an Independence Day festival featuring live music, games, food trucks, local vendors and more. Cap off the night with an amazing fireworks display. 6pm to 9pm

Winter Garden Red, White & Blue Americana Festival
Winter Garden is celebrating Independence Day all weekend long, starting with live music on the plaza Friday evening, continuing on to games and music at the Farmers Market on Saturday and then a fun family parade on Sunday morning. The weekend culminates with fireworks over Lake Apopka on Sunday evening.

Star Spangled Sanford
Star Spangled Sanford is back with a bigger and better fireworks display. The festival kicks off at 7pm with live music and food and drink. Just after sunset the fireworks display will take place right over Lake Monroe. It is a 20 minute display choreographed to patriotic music.

Mount Dora Freedom on the Waterfront
Celebrate Independence Day at Mount Dora’s Freedom on the Waterfront festival. There will be live music (starting at 5pm), featuring Sean Holcomb, Bailey Callahan and Diamond Dixie, food trucks and fireworks.

Celebration’s Red, White, Blue and You
Celebrate Independence Day all day in Celebration with their Red, White, Blue and You Event. The day kicks off with a parade in the morning and ends with Backyard BBQ and concert on the Great Lawn in the evening. During the day there are also pool games and activities.

Old Town Red, White & Blue Weekend Kickoff
Attend Old Town’s Red, White & Blue Weekend for a weekend of holiday fun. Enjoy “streetmosphere” entertainment, a Classic Car Show and of course fireworks.

Star Spangled Weekend Celebration
Go to Promenade at Sunset Walk for their Star-Spangled Weekend Celebration. Both Saturday and Sunday they will have live music and street performers, but fireworks will only be Sunday night at 9:30pm. Register for free tickets online.

Fireworks at the Fountain
Fireworks at the Fountain returns this year to Lake Eola for its 44th annual celebration. The celebration includes live entertainment, family fun, food and drinks, and celebratory fireworks.

Avalon Park 4th of July Festival
Visit Avalon Park for its 4th of July Festival. There will be community performances, a bike parade, wet and dry bounce area and an apple pie bake-off. The evening culminates in fireworks over downtown.

Red, White and Boom!
Celebrate 4th of July in Clermont this year. Their Red, White and Boom Festival will feature a DJ, an aerialist, food trucks and more. End the night with a magical fireworks display over Lake Minneola. Viewing sites for the fireworks include Waterfront Park and Victory Pointe.

Winter Park Annual Fourth of July Celebration
Winter Park will be celebrating the 4th on the 5th. Join them for their annual Fourth of July celebration in Central Park. The event includes live music and a Kids Zone with carnival games. Everyone can enjoy free watermelon, apple pies and water during the celebration (while supplies last).
